The DARIAH HUB project aimed to develop a national smart digital research infrastructure for the humanities and the arts. As part of the project activities carried out between 2024 and 2026, a national ecosystem is being created to enable interdisciplinary research on Polish cultural heritage and archaeological materials. The infrastructure, which is the main outcome of the project, can be used for both national and international research initiatives, as well as for projects conducted in collaboration with commercial partners. The project has been co-funded by the National Recovery Plan.

The MIR working group has delivered two components of the ecosystem. The first is an online system for cataloguing metadata for cultural heritage objects, operating under the name Ethnopedia. It was used to develop metadata for a collection of traditional songs from the Kashubia region. The second tool is OMRAM – an online system supporting efficient collaborative transcription of staff documents using artificial intelligence. It enables efficient organisation and correction of automatically generated music transcriptions. Using this tool, a collection of Kurpie songs from the Skierkowski archive has been created.
