The subcollection consists of music transcriptions taken from three volumes of the publication: I: Ritual Songs, Warsaw 1997, II: Popular Songs, Warsaw 1998, III: Popular and Occupational Songs, Warsaw 1998. The collection consists of over 1,500 items and includes sound files of vocal and instrumental melodies. Among them are both transcriptions from archival recordings collected by the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as sound versions of unrecorded melodies, sourced from manuscripts and songbooks of the 19th and 20th centuries. Information about the origin of the melody is included in the Source field.
